Thanks to ABS - CBN for selecting Andi Eigenmann to play the sway role in it ' s latest primetime offering blue-blooded " Agua Bendita ". Gal will play here the role of two personalities being Agua and Bendita as twins in the fantasy series. Piece has done a lot of visits in poles apart ABS - CBN shows to befriend the new series and in the process, Andi has gained grounds and started to gain a nut base locally and abroad.
But many are grasping that her newly ring in fame is short lived, virtuous like other new comers that were overly hyped. They say that once her first series is done, she will be sidelined just like the others.
But there are reasons for me that Andi is not a one hit wonder. First, she is rooted from a clan of showbiz personalities. Her mother is Jacklyn Jose who has been in the showbiz industry for decades and is active up to this day. Her father, Mark Gil, is one of the Eigenmann siblings that also spent decades of acting and even gained acting awards in the process. Her cousins are also in the showbiz ahead of her and are now making name in the showbiz main stream. So it is in her blood to be an actress and she can ' t get away from it.
Second, Andi ' s acting prowess has been honed even before this latest development in her showbiz career. She has been casted in different shows before and those appearances gave her the experience to develop her acting skills. She has been into workshops before going into the limelight. She even had a chance of exchanging dialogs with her own mother in some scenes in one of her previous acting engagements. So the acting skill is there that will keep her into the limelight for a long time.
Then she has the beauty and brain that can be compared to the popular young actresses today. She has been compared to Angel Locsin since they have some common facial features and a flawless skin that can make her an endorser of skin products someday. As she grows older, she will become a finer lady, paired with her superb acting skills, will help her mark her name in Philippine showbiz.
As long as she will not put the fame in her head, Andi will definitely go a long long way in her showbiz career. At this early, she has already developed a string following of fans that will support her in her showbiz career.
Is Andi Eigenmann a one hit wonder? My answer is a big no.
