The shorts took off! Now they have hit the big time and are seen in UFC bouts and on UFC fighters.

Sprawl creators cut down the shorts so there was nothing extra was on them.

In the 5th generation fight short they come up with the ' grip - zones ' and then added 4 way stretch. Featured in the 6th generation short... blood and sweat resistance!

Comparison

Of course there are some other good shorts, no doubt, like TapouT and Bad Boy who have come along and made a similar short and others make a great line of shorts but Sprawl is head and shoulders above the rest. Sprawl shorts are clearly better made so they are considered a specialty short.

Century shorts would be suitable practice shorts for a good price and then you could wear Sprawl for competitions. Revgear has entered the market but their shorts about like Century.
