Andi Eigenmann Is Not A One Hit Wonder

Andi Eigenmann aloof came out of nowhere and make-believe a buzz in the four corners of the Philippine showbiz. Babe has been the gibber of the field when her sign started to recur in prints and in internet media.

Thanks to ABS - CBN for selecting Andi Eigenmann to play the sway role in it ' s latest primetime offering blue-blooded " Agua Bendita ". Gal will play here the role of two personalities being Agua and Bendita as twins in the fantasy series. Piece has done a lot of visits in poles apart ABS - CBN shows to befriend the new series and in the process, Andi has gained grounds and started to gain a nut base locally and abroad.

But many are grasping that her newly ring in fame is short lived, virtuous like other new comers that were overly hyped. They say that once her first series is done, she will be sidelined just like the others.

But there are reasons for me that Andi is not a one hit wonder. First, she is rooted from a clan of showbiz personalities. Her mother is Jacklyn Jose who has been in the showbiz industry for decades and is active up to this day. Her father, Mark Gil, is one of the Eigenmann siblings that also spent decades of acting and even gained acting awards in the process. Her cousins are also in the showbiz ahead of her and are now making name in the showbiz main stream. So it is in her blood to be an actress and she can ' t get away from it.

Second, Andi ' s acting prowess has been honed even before this latest development in her showbiz career. She has been casted in different shows before and those appearances gave her the experience to develop her acting skills. She has been into workshops before going into the limelight. She even had a chance of exchanging dialogs with her own mother in some scenes in one of her previous acting engagements. So the acting skill is there that will keep her into the limelight for a long time.

Then she has the beauty and brain that can be compared to the popular young actresses today. She has been compared to Angel Locsin since they have some common facial features and a flawless skin that can make her an endorser of skin products someday. As she grows older, she will become a finer lady, paired with her superb acting skills, will help her mark her name in Philippine showbiz.

As long as she will not put the fame in her head, Andi will definitely go a long long way in her showbiz career. At this early, she has already developed a string following of fans that will support her in her showbiz career.

Is Andi Eigenmann a one hit wonder? My answer is a big no.

Do You Ever Wonder

For partly 30 years I have been practicing as a dentist in the Los Angeles area and sometimes I scrupulous wonder about stuff. Let me suggest this straight up about dentistry. If dentists are committed to skill their job properly we should be slowly putting ourselves out of business. Isnt the best dentistry no dentistry and doesnt every one out there demand to get their teeth cleaned and lip " Thanks, I will see you again in 6 months ". And fundamentally we are losing the battle against cavities, as the statistics point out an increase in the numeral of teeth needing treatment in the teens of America. And guess what that meansI will still be in business because most of the dentistry done today is replacing dentistry that has failed. Its not that you are getting poor dental treatment, its just you have already destroyed what nature first provided you you will eventually destroy what a dentist puts in your mouth.

This takes me to a quote that a Dr. Sinatra, a cardiologist, posted on Facebook.

First said in 1880 and it is as true today as it was back then. And it is really all about personal responsibility.

Today I read an opinion page in our local newspaper about NY City Mayor Bloomberg asking the Department of Agriculture to grant New York City a two - year waiver to ban the purchase of soda with food - stamp cards, saying its a matter of public health. This is a tough one and I can see both sides of the story. But as someone who is dedicated to prevention of disease I know there is absolutely no nutritional value to most beverages on the market and soda is the leader of the pack here. I think we can all agree that there are healthier foods to use the food stamps on. I want to say " Good for you Mayor Bloomberg, you are right " but maybe this is not the right place for the battle. What about cookies or high sugar items that people will use the food stamps on.. whats the difference between them and soda. Its about personal responsibility.

Here is something else that I wonder about. What kind of example is being set by those who speak about health reform, but take cigarette breaks? How can anyone who is educated and be any type of leader have untreated health conditions? And we know it is happening. And what about our food industry pumping us processed food that actually harms us?

Is it just me who wonders of the hypocrisy of our leaders who claim to know what is best for our country but are unwilling to do what is best for their own health?

To those in position of authority and leadership I ask you.. Stop violating the laws of health.
